    Embedding a .gif

So my friend is making a new signature for use on her forum and she wanted to embed an animated .gif file into her signature. She has no idea how to do this but it sounded to me like something that could be done fairly easily with flash and Actionscript. Personally, I have not used Actionscript in any of my projects since I bought CS3. Mostly I've just been too lazy to learn the differences between Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0, I know it uses a bit different of a syntax.

Basically, I'm looking to help her embed this animated .gif in her signature, but I'm not sure how to use Actionscript to do this in AS 3.0. If someone could post a sample code that explains it I'd appreciate it.

flash is not required, unless the forum sigs support swfs and not gifs, in which case, put the gif in the swf and embed the swf. simple drag and drop operation :P. aside from that, it depends on teh forum.
