    Why has Flash gone video?

Forgive me for being late on the uptake here. This is a question I have wanted to ask for a while. Flash web animation websites such as JoeCartoon and JibJab now show their flash animation as video. The reason I can think of is:
    1. Smoother streaming
    2. Can't use SWF Decompiler to open the SWF
    3. To link to Youtube and add revenue

Are there any other reason these websites have gone to video for their flash?
    Thank you.

Increases # of devices which can consume the media. Also the animations are 100% in sync on all computers whereas it is possible for speedup/slowdown on fast/slow machines.
Nothing to see here, move along.
