Molehill
So, is anyone here playing with Molehill already?
Adobe has put this stuff on labs for the ones who want it
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/f...mes/incubator/
Also, the gotoandplay guy has made a impressive video with many demos of what it can do
I'm not that much into 3d, but i would love to acess the GPU to other things, like this water effect in this video, it looks awesome

I'm not sure if i like that unity will export to flash, but that's their decision.
I hate 3d max with all the forces of my being

I think it is a good move for Unity and a bit of a slap in the face for Adobe. They put all this work in to getting MoleHill so there's hardware access but weren't planning to release publishing tools for it yet (AFAIK) and Unity comes along and offers exactly that. I mean that was really the one drawback for Unity was it's less-than-ubiquitous install base and with this they have that. Here's the Unity blog post for anyone interested: http://blogs.unity3d.com/2011/02/27/...3d-on-the-web/

@YBAB The flash player will just support low level graphics API, supported by GPU (OpenGL I guess). But this API is very tough to use, you need a graphics engine upon it.. Plenty of Molehill engines will popup in the coming months and one or two will emerge. Unity3D is already one of them. But you can use this new API to make 2D games, you can make 2D games with Unity3D too.
