I went through every single shot and I have to say you did a great job!
Love the crop, lighting and pose, your sensitive way to present the model.
This shooting certainly was fun as I can feel the intimate vibes between you and her....both of you were really getting in to it...nicely done every single shot!

...would have liked to give you some critiques but you are not giving me a chance

Cheers Frex - was a really simple lighting set up as well - just one bowens light camera left through softbox and a little bit of window light to the right.

Most of the time I just used the modelling light - not using the flash. This allowed me to open the aperture up to 1.8 without the flash blowing the photo out.

Simple but effective is what I am always going for...
    ...1.8, so they're all taken with a 50mm prime?!

    85mm 1.8

I actually hired the 1.2 version of the 85mm and, while it was great, I don't think the quality is that much higher than the 1.8 version which is much cheaper - plus, the 1.8 focuses much faster which makes it easier to use.

For some reason I keep forgetting this lens, relying on my 24-70 for it's all-rounder qualities but every time I come back to the 85 1.8 I'm impressed.

Part of me would consider selling my 24-70 and buying a couple of decent primes instead.

maybe a 50mm and then a wide angle prime
