Sharpen for web
Hi,
Recently I've noticed that some images on the net are very sharp while mine seem to be lacking that "fizz" I see on some portfolio sites.
It seems to me that Photoshop looses sharpness when you resize so I have come up with a process to resize and sharpen for the web.
I've saved them as actions that you can download here:

There's 2 in there - both resize to 800px but one is for portrait and the other is for landscape
It assumes you start with a fairly big file though - certainly over 2500 pixels wide or high.
The process applies an unsharp mask a few times while it resizes (which it does in steps).
If you start with a small image, this will look horrible, but for images straight out of my 5D Mark II I think it's ok.
If any of you want to give it a try I'd be interested to hear what you think.
Cheers.
