    Flash Menu Bar & SEO

Hello! I was wondering if anyone can help. I want to use a flash navigation menu for a company web site.If I added the same menu links in the footer, would the spider still see them with the same priority as opposed to them being at the top? So I want to use a flash menu at the top which is not SEO friendy while adding the SEO friendly links in the footer or even under the flash menu. Any information would be appreciatied. Thanks.

I don't know that page placement makes any difference. Another route you could consider is to use SWFObject to replace your normal HTML version of the nav with a Flash nav.

If you decide to go the Flash nav route, I'd stongly suggest you keep in mind how to make your nav accessible to the blind (the Accessibility panel is your friend) and how it will work for people visiting your site using Apple devices that don't support Flash (iPad, iPhone, etc.)
