    numerical input only on andriod?

    Hi Guys,

If you create an input text feild, publish this to android and then press it while running the device, Andriod automatically throws up a keyboard for it.

Does anyone no of any control over what keyboard appears?

For one area of my app I want to limit input to numbers only.
I suppose I can limit this in character embedding for the text field, but it would be good if there was a call I could make that made the keyboard numerical only.

    thanks
    Aidan

as far as i know, you don't have control over that..
my only thought would be that you could completely fake it...

perhaps by not making it an input field, just have it as a dynamic text field. when it is clicked, your own keyboard clip appears with just numbers and can function just like the built in keyboard.
