    Spinning Motion Preset Looks Wrong

Hi, I am simply trying to make a bitmap spin in cs4 pro.

What I have done is create a new actionscript 3 document, imported to stage my bitmap then converting it to movie clip, then i just apply the 3d spin motion preset.

When i try the movie it spins ok apart from 1 frame where it looks like the bitmap moves to the left slightly.

Do I need to delete frame 1 or the last frame perhaps ?.

If anybody could help me I would be very grateful

    thanks in advance

You could also create a classic tween between two identical keyframes and select the space in between those two frames (the tween). go to properties, select rotation.

    Hi Again

I have tried your suggestion of a classic tween but all it does is rotate like a clock either clockwise or anti clockwise, what I want to do is Spin it like a globe, I think this is called the y axis and I dont know how to do this manually which is why i tried the motion preset, if you could tell me i would be very grateful.

    thanks

    In that case..

Make a keyframe with just your picture.
    Classic tween in to:
the same image, but manually change the width of your image to 1px (without scaling the height along)
Then insert a keyframe right after that one. It should be the same as the previous one, except the image should be flipped horizontally (modify>transform>flip horizontal)
Finally tween that to a keyframe which is the same as the first, but also flipped horizontal.

I think you can figure out the rest
    Glad I can help you.
