    can't export 8000 x 8000 bitmap

I need to export large bitmaps from Flash CS3 and CS5. I'm finding that about 4120 x 4120 pixels is the largest bitmap I can export. If I try to go bigger, Flash clips off the bottom and right portions of the image.
This occurs whether I set to export to Full Document Size or Minimum Image area.
I've mostly tested this in CS3, but it occurs in CS5 too.
Any advice on a workaround is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for doing a test nomanzia26; I don't have mx2004, only CS3 and CS5. And I've tried repeatedly to export a bitmap image larger than about 4100 x 4100 and I can't do it. I have a friend who got the same results - the image is always truncated. Does anyone know a way to export bitmaps larger than 4100 x 4100? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Thanks YBAB. I have 2gb of Ram. I cleared my memory but that didn't help.
Could you tell me the steps you used to export the 8000 by 8000 image? And how much ram you have and your OS?
    Thanks again.

YBAB, when you say '3 to 4 active' does that mean 3 to 4 gb of ram.
By the way, I'm using Windows XP.

Thanks, YBAB. Sounds like I may need to get a new computer with
Windows 7 and get 8 or 16 gb or ram.
