How to get SWF to align on the TOP of a page, but beneath a header....?

Hi, so I want to make my SWF be on the very top of the page, but beneath the header. The SWF automatically adjusts its size based on the browser's; I want it to take up as much room as possible at all times while still being able to see everything, which I have.

The problem is 2 things: one, I have something flying in and out (from the top) and you can see it in the white-space around the SWF when it is not in on the stage.
Two, the whole vertical alignment thing. I want it to be DIRECTLY under the header, not centered.

Any thoughts? I'm using Dreamweaver to make this webpage by the way.... I'm not really sure which end this is- Dreamweaver or Flash...

Link to your testing page? It's the coding or from Dreamweaver's side!

I can't seem to understand your problems?

The bird flying on Top, I cannot see it when it's gone from the Stage on the white space, and can you define header, your interpretation of the word? 'cause I can only see a blue bar, which I think you refer to as "vertical alignment"

    What browser are you on?
Because I just discovered a whole new problem...

On IE & Opera: The SWF is very very small & doesn't listen to my setting of automatically adjusting the size to fit the browser's width/height.

On Chrome & Safari: The SWF automatically adjusts its size, which is good, but doesn't vertically align (see above posts).

And on Firefox: it doesn't even show up! Just a blank page with the header.

    Ughhh....

Also, on every single one, the SWF runs into the header (i.e. the header is on TOP of the SWF).

Ok, now it shows up at least in Firefox (IE - haven't tested) but is still isn't the right size. It's very small...

    Look for yourself: www.swcsnp.org/home.html

Plus, the topper isn't showing up now, but it does when I test it locally... I've uploaded global.css and all latest versions of everything to my hosting, so I don't know why it's not working...

And the vertical alignment still doesn't work. 0_o

Please upload your FLA file and post the link!

for the top bar, you are referring to the file in your computer. If you check the HTML codes, you'll see it for yourself. For instance, look at this:

    file:///Mac OS X/Users/macuser/Downloads/about.html

    change it to:

    about.html

Do the same with everything else which is set to display from local computer!
