ok ive noticed that all these people hop on these "photoshop battles" and all i have seen is: 1) yall take way to damn long to make anything... 2)I work all day as a professional artist and if on something like this i took more then 10 minutes i would feel like a failed artist. 3) don't claim you are gonna do something and then not follow up. 4) everybody is big talk then they do not come trough but all the newbs ogles over bullcrap work... 5) putting horizontal or diagonal CRT display lines over something does not make it a unified composition... 6) where are the other battles? do all you only know how to use Photoshop.. what happened to illustrator, or better yet this is a flash site... so... flash? Hell Id be stoked to see an actual battle on anything other then ooo look I can edit an image...

to sum it up... bring it who wants a real battle name the grounds and get ready for war.


**EDIT.... man the arena must be dead if no one jumped on that... I was just smack talking to hopefully stir somebody up but it looks like after all day no one wants to battle... Im sad :-(

I would hope I am not too late to X-cept a challenge. It has been a long time since I have battled. I am rusty on the skills Of Photoshop primarily doing dog and pony graphics for non artistic people who would marvel at a straight line. So I would take you up the challenge mixed Platforms perhaps Ps and Ai? Let me know.

that will also give us both and excuse to learn after effects because Ive never used it before...

Well I do not mean to bore you but I do not have access to after effects, I am not versed in animation as well. Honestly I am self taught with a start from my mentor. I will see what I can do about getting after effects and playing with it though. So for now if you choose Ai and Ps. call the rules.

and my idea of a battle is not to prove one is better then the other, its to expand both of our skills sets, so tell me what it is you want to achieve and we will grind that out!

I come here to learn from others just a good friendly match. These battles are never about a winner I look for the artistic value and ways to achieve your message. so let gets some rounds started name the rules turn around time for me say 24 hrs I'm not a speed battler now Gerbick can Chef images out in minutes provided he is not busy with work.
