Hi,

I hope someone can give me an idea of where I need to change a colour in a Flash template...It is using action script 2 and I am editing it on Adobe Flash CS5. This template is also editable in XML for text and images

Can you please tell me how to change the colour of the pink flash transition every time the page changes? (it is made up of a series of small rectangles)

I have found the correct sprite ... but after I change the colour of the related shape in the colour palette (in properties) the colour doesnt change after I re-play the movie. if I delete this/shape from the stage, and then play the movie, then the pink flash squares disappear!!!... so it must be the correct file.....All I want to do is change this colour from pink to blue...

Oh what I also did, when trying to change colours in the pallette was to click on one of the small squares at the bottom row of this color pallette (it was a tiny blue f - the face book image in the template) and was on the bottom row of the pallette. This then filled the shape with multiple F's and after I played the movie it broke up the colour transition into lots of F's instead..BUT THEY WERE ALL PINK (not blue)....grrrr! so that didnt work... I think I am dancing all around it but no luck so far.

Note: what stumps me is that this shape in the FLA (that I am trying to chang is gray in colour but there is nothing in the library that is pink so wondering if it needs to be changed somewhere else (like action script) but I cant find anything anywhere!!

SO then I thought it might be editable in the XML file ...but there is NOTHING...grrr!

I have also searched in case the color was an image ...but nothing!
I also dragged a blue image (that I designed) onto the stage and placed it over the top of this shape but that didnt work either... still PINK when I play the movie.

I wanted to give you as much information as possible ..I know a little bit about Flash but I 'm sure the experts reading this will be able to pinpoint what is happening fairly easily.

Any help would be really appreciated as its driving me mad? ..and im sure it will only take a second to change once I know where to do it
