    Arrow Career as AS3

    Hi guyz,

    i need some suggestion regarding the career, i am currently working for agency as Flash Developer. I want to enhance my career and its difficult to choose. So give me some suggestions.

    i got professional +6yrs experience as 3D modeller, +3yrs Flash Developer
    +2yrs as NonLinear Video Editor. earning $27,442.01 USD annually in middle east.

    Do you think annual salary as flash developer is okay! what next suitable job should i try and expecting salary?

    I think you'll make a lot more if you expand your horizons and your skill sets The biggest market now is the app market.

    Or if you wanted to make your 3D skills more marketable study CAD

    Ya, you rite, app market is new big thing.
    I do abit CAD but i dont want to go into industrial design field

    however, i worked with away3d, Flash face detection and augmented reality
    usually clients are now moving to html5, jquery animation

    i see game development using unity3d is only options
    but in middle east gaming dont have big market

    Nothing beats native development as far as being able to leverage 100% of the capabilities but for most cases, the ability to compile your flash content for iOS and android can be a much less painful transition. HTML5 skills are valuable but unless you already have the work you may not get the return on time investment right away.
    Unity work is a fast growing area and you don't necessarily have to work for local companies or target local audiences. This is the probably the best use of your skill set.
