    85mm revisited

This forum is on its last legs.. let's try to inject a bit of life into it.

    Here's some pics I took recently with a (borrowed) 85mm 1.2

Great lens on a full frame when you nail the focus. I am getting the 85mm itch and really want the 85 1.8. I really want a macro lens too but I was thinking to hold me off I could just get the 85 and a set of kenko tubes perhaps.

Also have you ever tried the tubes with your 100 macro you have? That MF one...?

I like the shallow depth of field and you're showing children photography of it's best...wish mum wouldn't cover her face!

    Yep, the forum is down!
I may keep posting once in a while in spite of the more than rare c/c I get...

Cant remember if I tried my 100mm with my macro tubes - could be worth a go.

Got some macro shots I'll post in another thread.

OK this thread made me feel bad about myself...

I'm not very hot about most of you either

Anyway I'm off to Sydney/Auckland and it looks like the weather will be fair to nippy with not much cloud cover, so after I packed everything, I repacked to include my camera back-pack

Hope to get some nice shots, see you in a week
