[RESOLVED] XML $ sign not showing in flash

Hey all,

I am having an issue with a dollar sign that is not displaying correctly in flash. The text is being pulled from an XML document and being placed into a dynamic text field. Everything works great except for a dollar sign. The dollar sign seems to be showing up as "false" in the dynamic text box. I have no idea why this is happening.

I have tried embedding the character in flash but am not really sure why else this would be happening.

Any ideas?

Ha...I am an idiot.

Deeply embedded in some code that I didn't write I found that this program is searching the string for a dollar sign and returning a boolean.

I thought it was odd I couldn't find anyone else out there that was having this issue.
