I've decided. I've decided that I'm not going to abandon Flash.
This is my statement. I've created so much using actionSctipt. I've built so much... I've built complex rendering engines... used abstraction and OOP in ways that are so amazing. Flash gave me so much.
I forced myself to learn Objective-C.
Killed myself learning the syntax and approach... you know what?
Everything I know about actionScript carries over.

Steve Jobs was right about one thing: Flash programmers are generally lazy about how they program. It's true.
Not all of us though.
Not all of us.
Some of us are wizards, who take ideas into reality.
I've done this.
I continue to do this.
I think flash will have it's day in the sun.
I think real actionScript developers will concentrate on multi-touch and complex interaction in ways that other UI/UX developers really won't even be able to understand.

Get yourself a multi-touch monitor and make magic happen... Flash is the future, not the past.
