(AS2) (CS6) Automation like photoshop's batch

Hello Flashkit!
Problem: I inherited a thousand swf files that are really great, but my boss is asking me to add play/pause/fullscreen functionality.

Question: Photoshop has an automate batch functionality.. it will let you record a series of events (clicks, etc) and then it will batch out entire folders of content. In this case, it would open a file inside a folder, add a layer, paste a button, add the appropriate script, save, close... then work its way through the folder repeating that action.

Is there a function like that inside cs6 for AS2?

I wish we would have it in flash, but no, I have only seen it in photoshop, great option indeed
