Skype echo test is not working.

While trying to test skype echo test, I could not hear my own recorded sound rather I got some hissing sound. What I mean to say I can hear but my recorded sound is not came to me. I made some changes in the "Sounds and Audio Devices" and I think I have done some thing wrong in the settings. I attached one image to look into , please give me some advise what to do.

Try checking your microphone with another app to make sure that is working correctly first.
