Wink How to make the SWF file smaller..?

    Hi,

I am trying to make for my school project a 4x 1920x1080 screen installation.

The problem is that the file lags.

    WHAT IS BEING DONE:
    - 4x 1920x1080 screen swf files with basic action script to call the external xml file where I have written some text on it.

    - I have inserted 40sec flv file into the swf file, which the file size is 22mb each, infinite loop.

    PROBLEM:
When the screens are being played, screens start to lag.
I have verified that there is no action script problem but the files played making lag.

I am using a quad-core PC with 2x dual VGA out video card (512mb).

    WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
I have tried to imitate the FLV animation with flash itself, but the the tweens inserted is also making the screen lag.

The CPU usage is around 60% but it is still doing that..
Would someone know the reason of this issue?

What would be the best solution to make the screen not lag...
Can a CPU, RAM or GPU upgrade would improve the performance...?
Yes... Yes... Yes... With out animation, just a plane image, the file does not lag lol.

22 megs seems kinda steep for a 40 second animation. Chances are you don't need a 1080p quality video. Try getting it down to 720p. RAM is really the key piece of needed hardware.
