Using Adobe Edge Animate for games?
Hey Everyone! It's been... forever?!
I recently dived into Edge Animate as a replacement for Flash interactivity. It works across all browsers (okay, haven't tested in IE to be fair) and across mobile platforms. I never played with AS3, but from what I can tell, the coding is simple and similar to AS2.
I want to make a really simple game but was wondering if anyone here has resources on code examples; what I loved about FlashKit is all the downloadable samples to tinker with and learn from. All I can seem to find are video tutorials on EA, and those don't always give the information I'm looking for (plus my patience can't stand sitting through 8 minutes of video for a simple solution!)
I'm wondering if there would ever be an EdgeAnimateKit (derp?) if people really feel that EA is a powerful tool, or if anyone knows of where to get sample files.
The project I want to make the little game for is my new interactive animated hedgehog, Snurffles!
Thanks guys!

When you know are.
I haven't used Edge but I love all of those little interactive bits you have on your tumblr. Those are so friggin cool. Did you use Edge to make those? Such a great idea (gonna have to steal it! )

Thanks! Yeah they're all animated externally and then made interactive in Edge Animate.
I did succeed in making the little game, Nom-A-Wormie.
The only major downfall I can find with Edge is that it can perform really slowly on AMD processors. :/

Is it really possible if you use the Edge Animate on games and played it on AS3? I thought that it's only used on web fonts.
