External video

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble getting a video to play from an external source. The video has been converted to FLV and hosted - all it has to do is play within a SWF file.

When importing and entering the URL is plays fine via test movie (although without sound) but when I save the SWF is won't run from my PC or the server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, hopefully not too much of a n00b question.

You'll have to give more information. What is the swf and who coded it? Show the player's code. You can change any private urls.

Why doesn't the audio in the video work? Who created the video?

I'm agreeing with moot. We need more information in order to help you. You can post your *.fla, or code, and change the video url for privacy's sake.
