What are other options besides Adobe Animate for making games?
I'm developing a game inspired by Cut the Rope. Assembling texture atlases manually has become too time consuming. What are some ways to automate? I've tried the GAF converter and it's working out pretty well. I'm also using Flash to generate my sprites. I know that Adobe CC is still the top dog to create vector animations. What other animation tools look promising?

GAF converter is a good tool, but if you want you can try and compare Spine or Dragon Bones. Those tools are with skeletal animation.

You can also try createjs. It's opensource but Adobe also supports the project. You export from AnimateCC as libraries which you can use in createjs projects. If you have previous as3 experience than createjs is the closest you can get in javascript. If you can not adapt to javascript you may also try typescript, it's very close to as3.
