make the mouse active

i saw in some nice sites an image following the mouse wherever it goes. Or an animation following the mouse pointer. How can i do this please tell me. Is it an actionscript or it is imported????

It is actionscript and you do it with the drag command:

Start Drag ("/yourMC", lockcenter)

Add this to the frame you want to start the drag in.

you also need to give the mc on the stage a name. double click and under definitions name it.
