okay I'm a newbie with sound so these questions should be simple

    1. Can you advise me on some simple ways/shareware to use to convert files to wav files using music from the cd player, from websites, etc..?

    2. Are there any good shareware programs or ways to mix and edit music for flash movies, using my own cd collection, and music from the web?

    3. Where can I get good sound effects, and primarily sound loops (background music) for free from the web?

    4. How does one synch sounds to events in Flash, my flash book had a tutorial on this but it only covered synching spoken words with animated text.

    5. What's the deal with copyright infringement? Can I just give credit to the artist, or what? How can I use my own music collection/ mixed and edited? what are some guidlines on sampling? Any advice in this area is appreciated. I want good sound, but I'm not a musician and can't exactly hire one. I can mix sounds though and am wondering how to do it for flash?

I think one is FrootyLoops, and another is AcidDJ

3.here at Flash Kit there are over 500 sfx.
other wise you will have to buy them.

4.In the Flash Help File it tells you all about that.
Event , Start, Stop , and Stream.
There is a tutorial on that here at FK in the tutorials

5.Copyrights are a legal issue and i am not a lawyer so you should check out this site
    http://www.loc.gov/copyright/

    Arrow sound editing

I am shopping for a good audio editor mixer. Sonic Foundry has an interesting looking set called Audio Anywhere (available for under $40 even though on their own site it sells for about $100), which contains the Sound Forge Editor and a version of Acid mixer. How does this compare to CoolEdit (which is more expensive especially if you want multi-track mixing plug-in)?
