    need help?

I am by no means an expert with this, so bear with me. I have gotten help on the same question though. Attach the command to your button. so on the button click on mouse event, then(roll, press, whatever) - click the load movie function, and type in yourmovie into the target box. That should work. Hope that helps

well - what I did man for the placement - if you saw my site, there is a main screne and thats where I am going to show all of the information (word crap) - the side menus are gonna have buttons in them that load up the other swf files...so
what I did was copy everything (just grabbed it all) and pasted it onto a new page - then I took the rulers and set down guides for where the screen is - and then deleted everything - then I just made my movie within the guidelines - I dont think flash 4 has em - but 5 does -
so thats all I did, its probabely not the "correct" way to do it - but it worked for me so Ill keep doin it till I find a better way.
but thanks again for the info...
Oh ya I am about to go live with the site - please check it if ya havent already and let me know what you think...
