I have a web host now that is very explensive, and it doesn't offer much. Can you guys help me out by posting some good hosting sites? Thanks for your help.

    consider Webmaking.net

Hi there. Webmaking.net charges $17.50 per month (we bill quarterly, so three months = $52.50). We provide up to 50 MB, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited e-mail accounts (other than by space), and right now are running a special that you pay absolutly no setup fee's. We're redesigning our site, so I can refer you to a specific URL that gives more details, but if you e-mail me at gary@webmaking.net I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Finally, our servers are NT based, which means you can integrate ASP and Flash much easier than CGI (although you can still use CGI with our servers, you just have more options now!).

Finally, I'd be happy to give anyone who reads this message three months of free service provided that they pay for 6 months in advance. That means you'll get 9 months for the price of $105.00 (US).

Our site is under construction, but I invite you to visit it at http://www.webmaking.net. We also feature a Web based control panel which you can access at http://control.webmaking.net. This is also under construction, but is soon to be integrated with all of our servers. You can login with using "guest" as both the username and password.

    Cordially,

    LDpro

    phoa thats expensive

having hit this problem, i decided to do somethin about it - I now host 150 domains - purely for friends and fellow flash junkies. Seriously inexpensive solution UK based.

If you wish I could help, but please don't tell everyone - the reason its fast is that its regulated, not cramming as many in as poss. 4gb free currently - want to keep it fast.

If you end up banging your head against a brick wall - let me know.

Well I am very interested. My server has about 900kb, on it now, I am going to put some more on it but not enough to slow down your server. I emailed you I didn't know if it got through so my email is tyler@panophobic.net/aim:slippnt thanks.

Of the ones I've used, I will vouch for The Web Site Source. I've given away domain names/webpages as gifts a few times, and this is the one I always use. It's about $20/month for 200MB, unlimited emails, and just about everything a *nix server can give you.

What ever you do, do NOT, I repeate DO NOT use CIHost, they are terrible even though the idea of 1GB of space for less than $30 a month is alluring...

    cheers!
