Downloading files of a .exe
I need to create a button on my .exe that will open a dialog box to allow the user to save some pdfs that will be on the CD onto their computers. The button will display the following
'Click this box to download the entire workbook as pdf files into a folder on your computer'
Any ideas - been working on this a while and keep coming up with nothing!
Thanks a lot

I've developed a bunch of FREE tools over the years for developing applications with Flash. They don't come close to offering the power of the commercial swf2exe tools but they allow you to do the most commonly required things like opening external files (like PDF, etc) in their registered applications without the ugly DOS box, getting rid of the projector window decoration (chrome), copying files from a CD to the HD. There are more, but these seem to be the most popular.
proxy
copy2
2desktop.zip
ncstart
There was a big discussion about the proxy utility (and some others) in http://www.flashkit.com/board/showth...hreadid=519274 that will provide tips and pointers to a few other utilities.

Thanks a lot for that!
So from what I can see if Iwant to save multiple files simultaneously in a folder to the HD I have to go to the commercial swf2exe tools - is this correct?
Thanks a lot for all your help

It's only correct because I haven't created a version of my tools that copy folders. It's only slightly more complicated because folders will take longer and we should give the user some feedback during the copy so they don't think the app is hung.
