I would like to learn how to create animations (from video) like egomedia has. Is there tute on that subject out there?

i don't know of a quick, sure way to do this but looking at the example i would take the video sequence and save each frame as a bitmap(jpg). Import each jpg into flash and use Modify>Trace Bitmap. You will need to fiddle around with the settings but you will eventually get the desired look.
Finally, put all the frames together and make an MC.

U'll also need a video editor to turn your video file to black & white before u import and trace it in Flash.
