I would like to design a site with some similarities with this one: http://www.rustboy.com
I want the nav and everything else to remain in it's place with a "window", if you will, to be the only thing that changes content. I know I can do it with html but would rather not. (The boss is watching ya know.) If I used html and created different pages for each change of content, there would be a longer wait for loading and probably a white page flash between pages.
Please don't take this to mean I want to pig on his style. I just like the simplicity of it and my site will be completely different.
Thanks folks, any help on this big one will be rewarded with much gratitude and $10,000.00!**

Hi,
Use (loadmovie) feature, make the navigation in the first movie and call other swf files with the buttons using loadmovie - level1 and so on.
To make it fit where you want, use the first movie (navigation) has a template, insert content and delete the navigation graphics before publishing the new movies.

THANKS!!! That's exactly what I needed to know. One more...
How should I set the stage size for the content movies? For the actual output size?
Thanks again,

For that you should use the same movie (nav) place the content and (save as) to another file.
Place it exacly where you want and remove the elements from the first movie
The safest way is to go (publish settings/html/dimensions/) and set 100%, this will fit the page to browser window, anyway every movie you load using (loadmovie) uses all the settings from the first movie, so it will allways fit nicely.
