Never mind. My fault. It redirected the e-mail to the junk folder. I have corrected it so it will not happen in the future.
Thanks -- can't wait to download it when I get home!

    Bob,

    The SWF import is AWESOME!!!!!

That opens up KM to greater web interfaces and web components with out using levels!

    ... but with levels....... "incrediable"!!

Q: I assume the swf that you want to import must be in the same directory with the rest of the project?

And if someone creates a standalone exe from the player, will it be included or does it have to be distributed with the exe?

    Great job!

-> It doesn't matter in creating the animation. In playing the animation, the main swf and imported swf must be in the same directory at this time.

And if someone creates a standalone exe from the player, will it be included or does it have to be distributed with the exe?

    -> Good question. I don't know.

Yes, 2.50. I don't seem to be able to edit the title to correct the mistake.

I answered my own question ("And if someone creates a standalone exe from the player, will it be included or does it have to be distributed with the exe?")

The answer is NO just like before. Any exterior swf differnet from the swf that was used to create an exe has to be included when you distribute exe player and flash content.

Frank the way that the SWF Object works is by creating a Movie Clip and then loading the SWF into that target. Theoretically You would not need to have the files in the same directory. However... The way it is implemented it does not allow for a URL to be used in place of a File Name so yes... You must have them in the same directory on your server.

It does not import the SWF Directly into it. This is why when you import a SWF as an Object you do not loose sounds and actions.

    resolved ver 2.50

WOW... brilliant Bob! 2.50`s import swf as an object is absolutely SUPERB! Can this program get any better? The new features are excellent, well done!

It almost makes me feel embarrassed to be using such a brilliant program at such an amazing price.

    Thanks

I have been overlooked and never received an update. Hmmm... didn't even know there was an update available. I wish the mailing list was more... uhhh... permanent(?), as I don't always have time to keep up with the discussion groups for all of the software that I use and rely on newsletters/mailing lists to inform me of updates and new releases.

I thought you were on the list but I was mistaken. I have added you and sent you an email with the download location.

If you were at 2.70 and put 2.71 on it may help... Other than that I can think of no reason why it wouldn't work now-

    - although I do know that certain, non-standard programs like Hydravision, runnining in the background does effect KoolMoves. Also with any app the amount of resources you have while running it also effects it (although KoolMoves is pretty light on the resources). If you have Hydravision disable it while working with KoolMoves.
