well i found out last night how to stop the looping, now I have a few questions before I upload my swish page. First of all, Ive seen pages that verifies if you have flash installed. Do I need that and if I dont, what will happen if someone doesn't have flash and they try to view my page? The page that the swish is on is my index page. Secondly I want sound to play but apparently swish only works with text. I have found a bunch of free flash music to download. How do I install it on the same index page that the swish is on?

    Hi, Off,

When you publish from SWiSH, it will generate code that will check to see if visitors have the Flash Player installed. If they don't, they will be given an opportunity to download it from the Macromedia site. There is another alternative -- you can create two pages, one with the Flash/SWiSH movie and one without, and use a redirection script to direct visitors to the appropriate page. FlashPlanet has a free Redirection Script Generator at http://www.flashplanet.com/generate/redir/

You can add background music or sound to any Web page, but it won't be part of your SWiSH movie. If you want to add music or sound to a movie created with the current version of SWiSH, you must import the movie into Flash to add the sound.

    Regards,

    Bill
