Hello peeps

What im looking to create is a 'snail racing' game
What i would like to happen is to have 4 snails at the starting line and for the user to win they have to press two alternate keys to make the little blighter go quicker!
the other 3 snails need to be on random speeds but not so that the same cpu controlled snails win everytime

how would i start doing this? and i need to have it done by this friday !!!!!!!!

any help would be much appreciated!
