    sure about that name? I searched, and came up with nothing.

    however, use advanced search, and plug in the name that way. it should come up with a match if the name is spelled correctly.

    no, I am not 100% sure about it. It was a long time ago that I saw anything posted by this person.
    I was hoping to ask his/her permission to use an image of theirs on my site... with a credit of course.

    What kind of image are you talking about? THE Botticelli was an Italian painter during the renaisance - he died in fifteen-something. You know the picture on the box &splashscreen of Adobe Illustrator? That's based on his work.

    I don't know who the Flashkit Botticelli might be, but If you can't find them, I dunno how they're famous enough for you to possess an image by them.

    its a cartoon image of a red-headed anime type girl carrying a gun, behind her is a circular target type thing and a whole bunch of flowers/petals.

    ...ring any bells? anyone?

    I just pulled an advanced search and put the name "Botticelli" in the "search by keyword" box ... "bottieli" is the closest I found ... their homepage is http://www.botticeli.com ... This who you are looking for????

    I dont see the specific image on her website but I have emailed her to see if its hers. Thanks!


    Does anyone have a suggestion of what I should do if I can't find her?
    I was thinking of using the image anyway with a credit (saying that I dont know who created it) and a link so someone can let me know if they find the artist. The site is a personal website and as such will be viewed by very few people.

    try asking in the arts and anime forum, if he/she was into creating anime style stuff they might know of them in there.
