Thread: EMBEDDED FONTS IN SCROLLING TEXT

  1. #1
Hello I have a major problem and was wondering if anyone had advice for me. I am working with a scrolling text window and I want to use a certain font. I always assumed that flash embedded the font automatically when it created the swf file.

But when I view it online, it is using a default font. I have tried selecting the embed font feature and also tried selecting device fonts, to no avail.

Does anyone know how to use a certain font in a scrolling text field and still be able to keep it once the swf file is created?

I would be so thankful for any suggestions

    thanks
    Dino

    hello mon

    It's funny but...
It seems that the flash mx "remamber" the default font.
Try to choose some other font and publish your fla, if it works try to change to this which you want.
If it doesn't work send me an e-mail with your fla([email protected]) and I'll send you a file with working text field
