I HAD POSTED THE SAME QUESTION IN GENERAL HELP BUT DIDN'T GET ANY SOLUTION....SO PLEASE HELP ME------Question---I wanted to know if it's possible to hack into the .swf file and get the password stored in it.For Ex - If i got 2 input box namely "name" and "password" . if i have assigned the variables such as "if name==flash & password == kit then go to ....something and else go to .....something"......So is it possible for a person to know what i have assigned the values for the input text box for name and password.....If it is possible then please tell me the way by which the problem can be solved....I use "macromedia Flash MX (6)".Thanx ...

There are some tools to decompile and reconstruct a .fla file from an .swf (since there are open formats) with uncertain results, it's depends of the complex of the movie.
But I think there are few people who knows how, and I don't post here the way (find yourself)
The thing is: it's important the information you keep?
If it is, use some other solustion, the common: some backend scripting with encrypth functions and a database or file
