Need you guys comment on this PINBALL game...please

Hi you Flashers.

I need your comment about this Pinball game i'm working on. There is not much actionscripting (almost everything was done with Goto's). I'd like you guys to leave me a comment about the look and feel of it. Go ahead... be a critic...i assume...

Take note that it is still in progress. There is 3 fonctionnal levels but i'm working on two more levels. The intro is not quite what i want too. If you try it, leave me a comment in here.

Also, i'd like you to tell me if i have any english error. I'm french canadian and my english is kinda poor...i know. (That's why i sound like Ivan Drago from Rocky 4).

I also know that my title is silly. If you have any ideas...let me know.....

it looks really nice.

i always see games in 4 parts:

1.) coding/functionality
2.) the gimmick/story (i.e, why people will play)
3.) graphics
4.) sounds/music

all 4 of these hold equal weight in my book. you are missing a whole category, sounds/music.

its like entering bald chick in the mrs. america contest , she's got everything else but is missing a very important part

sound fx and music add sooooooooooo much. in my opinion, the way the sound synchonizes with the images is the sole reason for getting any sort of emotional evocation from flash experience.

so in short: great game! add sounds !

the graphics are nice too.

looks good, but to better simulate a real pinball machine, if a user holds down one of the flipper buttons, the flipper should remain in the 'up' position. currently, the flipper always returns to its original state. just a thought. audio would be nice as well.

First I wanna thank you all guys for wasting some precious time helping me out.

About the flipper thing, i'm still working on that. But still, it was not one of my priority. Didn't tought somebody would care. Your opinion on that will make me revise my prority. I will work harder on that....

About the sound, i also thought it would be funnier to have a quick load than having sounds. Again, i will make this aspect, one of my priority.

IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I COULD GET SOME COOL PINBALL SOUND LET ME KNOW.

DONT STOP TELLING ME WHAT YOU THINK. IT IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH....I really take your advise seriously. I'm new at Flash and i need you guys to grow up.

By the way, if you play with it seriously, tell me your best score (Without using the WARP ZONE)

Very Nice! It was quite a bit cooler than I expected from Flash.

I agree with others comments though. Needs sound and you have to make the flipper stay up while the key is pressed. Finally, you'll want to add more complexity in the playing surface. Maybe some buzzers, bells, targets, etc.

But what you've done so far is VERY IMPRESSIVE!

why not just go to your local arcade and record a few cli
ips? most pinball games sound the same :-)

i would agree that you need a little more complexity with the game . . . maybe increasing the size and adding a few more bouncers?

Great Game

One tiny observation to make more true to life is that if you hold down 1 or 3, the flipper should stay up until you let go..

I'm kinda stuck here...

The way i designed this game, i cannot make the flippers stay up. This game was made with almost no coding...Most of the action are made with (Goto's). That's cuz i'm not a programmer. I'm more like...an artist.

I'll check for a trick to fix that but i think i have to forget this idea...at least for this version...

Now, for the sound...it's comming shortly. I've made a Test version with sound over the first two level...one little problem. My Web provider allow only SWF under 500K
