    sounds like my friend...

do two things... lens cleaner, the disk type... place into ps2 - while it's horizontal - and then re-attempt.

if not working... then your lens has two parts to it, and they can get separated. hope that you bought insurance/protection.

    good luck mang.

Mine was like that for the longest time and I didn't want to call up and end up having to send my precious little toy away, I don't think it could make it being away from me and all. But while I was trying it one last time, there wasn't much room on my desk so I turned it on it's side and it worked just fine. I did however use my laser lens cleaning disk after that for cook measure...

So you should try turning it vertically, and if that works, buy a vertical stand so it doesn't fall over and get really busted.

I occasionally get that error. I just switch off everything for a few minutes, come back then its fine. I guess you've tried that though!

I've seen alot of posts on different forums about this happening with GTA:VC and GTA:VC only. Every other game they try works fine.

Could there be a bad batch of GTA:VC?
