OH! Please help – with a Paint shop Pro Questions

Firstly – I apologize to the moderator and anyone else I am annoying with this post– but it’s the only board I know with smart people and quick answers.

I turned on my Auto-save feature in 7.04 version – I opened a bunch of pictures from a disk – I closed the pictures and took the disk out – now every time I open the program all these pictures start to open , and I also get a “cannot locate file” for some of the pictures unless I insert the disk or just click –ok- I have already turned the feature off and re-started umpteen times – but I can’t get this DAMM program to open without all this S#$& - how can I tell it not to search for these files when opening – as I cannot find the temp file they are stored in.

    Please Help …..Thanks …Ela
Is it true-they have the internet on computers now?

Use the Autosave Settings dialog box when you want Paint Shop Pro to create a temporary backup file for each open image. The program creates an ATS file containing the location of the original image, the location of the backup file, and a TMP. file of each open image.

The Autosave feature can prevent you from losing your work if the system or program crashes. If this occurs, after you restart Paint Shop Pro, the program scans your Autosave directory for any ATS files. If it locates one, it reloads the temporary images.
To use the Autosave Settings Dialog box:

1 Select the Enable autosave check box to have Paint Shop Pro create temporary feature. Clear the check box if you do not want to use the feature.

2 Select a number from the Minutes box to determine how frequently Paint Shop Pro creates a temporary file.

By default, temporary files are stored in the Windows > TEMP folder. If you prefer to save them elsewhere, select a new folder using the Undo/Temporary tab of the File Locations dialog box.

See auto save in your help files-----Your photos are loading from the ATS file--Just go to your c drive --programs and the jasc folder and try to track the file down. ---

I take it the ats files are created in jasc and the temp files are located in windows temp folder.
