    sound?!?!

    I am trying to put sound in my flash file. I know how to do this, but I don't know why my computer will not record my voice.
    I have a sound card, speakers, and a microphone all hooked up and working, and the microphone on in the volume control box, but nothing happens when I try to record using Microsoft's Sound Recorder. Anybody care to help?

    In sound recorder. Did you start with File/New? Then hit the red record button? Then Save As?

    Yes. I know how to use sound recorder, it simply is not recording the information onto the file. I record, then stop it, then playback has nothing. It's weird.
