THe flashkit member Xerxes made a snowman in Bryce just a few days ago too.
And posted it here.

WWWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
what prog was that?? 3ds max?
-
Good job man on Darth,
Keep it up dude.
3dsmax your choice I see.
Cinema 4d Xl 6 is my favorite.
Well see ya,
Chris
-
Yes, MAX 3.0. The model was over 700,000 polygons and the diffuse/bump maps were from the Marlin sci-fi texture collection. Environment fog was done in MAX and the background is a stock NASA photo.
thanks

Blue Haired Muppet
Hey AMF...I just noticed something about you footer. The smiley animation is 48k alone! I am not sure if you were aware of this or not, but it is only supposed to be 15k. Just lettin' ya know.
-
Really? lol i thought it was like 10..so it is the footer size is considering everything in the footer??\
BTW how did u make the twig arms??????
-
The entire footer should be no larger than 15K. According to my browser's cache, the file a.swf is 17.4K - that appears to be AMF's footer, which could use a little trimming.
thanks.
-
can you tell me if you know of a comparable 3d program for the mac. I have used lighwave 5.6 at school and I'm thinking of shelling out the money
-
Lightwave 6 is a superb program and runs pretty well on MAC's from what I hear. If you have the $$$, you should do well with it.
good luck!
-
why does everyone who knows max create space scenes? ...it's almost as bad as the bryce mountains and planets...
-
HAHAHA
its all to true
hehehehehehe
-
I moved my question out to the main forum...I am really curious as to why it happens that way...
