new sight check please

I started a new flash for my site and I could use some feedback. Feel free to be as harsh as you like. I want to use it to show what I know about flash, javascript, perl, html and 3d rendering and all that...

It is not complete and all the purple links are temp, I am to the point where I am not sure if I went the right way here and I don't want to spend any more time on it so.....

pretty cool.
I am viewing this from a university LAN, with a very slow connection on a iMac os9.
It took about 5 min to load.
I like the idea of a game for a preloader: maybe it could be more similar to the rest of the site in look, more "spacey". Also, something wrong with the hit test, about half the time you hit the little thingum but you dont register a score.

the site itself looks very promising: small problems such as dont use a serf font, the font is already very small and a sanserif would be more legible.
Also I dont like the hexagonal bolts at the top of the screen: they seem to have no purpose.
Otherwise, nice!

it took about 2 minutes to load where I am.

I thought it looked good so far, perhaps when you roolover the links, you could have them being highlighted, but thats the only thing I can think of for now
