    Is Amazon.com a secure site?

    Has anyone had a problem with amazon.com with their credit card details. Im just asking because i am really weiry of using my credit card on the internet but i really need to get a certian book. Is it safe for me to use my credit card ?

    They've been around for several years now. If there were any problems they'd probably be out of business. I'm also weiry about giving my card number, too, though, so the feeling is mutual.

    Well, giving out credit card info, or any info on the net is scary. Although, there are some things that can only be found on the internet and thus, a credit card must be used. As for Amazon.com, yes, it has been in business for a while, and doing pretty well. I have used Amazon.com for a few purchases and everything has gone fine.

    Amazon.com is probably one of the secure sites out there.

    (I have no idea why i decided to answer this thread! I should be helping people with there gaming problems...)

    Their is a gamedev book i was looking at getting and a few other books. BTW what other forum was i sposed to post Actionscript, xml art anime eh u tell me. Board room , coffie lounge ?

    Yes, from Estonia (thats in eastern Europe).
    Books were delivered in 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly.

    Hm... I've never even questioned the safety of the card with such a big site. And I'm not about to start.
