.AVI file :: Best way to use in Flash

Which is the best way to ad a .avi file to a flash site? Should I embed the file into flash or should I have it pop up in its own idividual window in realplayer or quicktime? and how would I go about the process and makin this happen? In other words what actions scripts do I have to use? Thank You

I would embed after i optimize the file for web and use it as a .swf so i wont get any players downloads for the users but hey thats me.
