the background still don't move ... I can still right click and click play to jump to the next level...i can still jump over obstacles by moving my mouse fast enough ... "doghe" is not a word ... I believe you wanted to use the word "dodge" perhaps just a spelling error. You added a loading screen a choice of which version to play and a scoring system though ... I still think it is far from complete however.

Well its a pretty good game, but it needs something else, another part of the game to make it better. You can still skip levels by right clicking and selecting play, which you can stop by inserting this code

The hittest is a bit off also, you might wanna clean that up(You can put your wing into the objects a bit). And last you can still fly through objects by moving the mouse very fast....
Sorry if I sound so annoying, you just need to clean it up a bit and it would be a great game .

finaly i got it blue on newgrounds. My game is blue and i wanted it to be doghe and if you need to cheat to beat my game thats ok. thats why its there so people with no skills can skip a level. My game got a 3.57/5.00 314 votes, 811 people views played my game. Man I'm so happy.

I'm not backing down, but it was a joke.

I don't really have any impressive games persay... I'm new to game development especially in flash. So don't really have anything to show you that you haven't seen befor. Couple of pong and break out variations ... which is mostly tutorial driven. A couple of point and click games ... once again tutorial driven. I made a Mario game ... also tutorial driven ... working on making a town RPGish style town ... just to try and round on my skills ... mostly tutorial driven ... I don't really have anythign I could call my own sept my graphics, oh yeah and now my tile engine (tweak of tony pa tutorials) and my tile level editor 100% mine ... but I'm not big headed enough to call any of this stuff my own yet... even though I might of taken it and made it "better" it's not really mine ...

there are alot of game that by right clicking you can skip levels. I put this game out on the board so people will say they like it or dislike it not to tell me about some right click menu. The main reason its there is to let people lower the quality. So thanks for tell me what i already know. Thats it you like or you don't and maybe some ideas or qustions. Thats all. Its best if players just play the game and makers look for the problem. don't take this as a dis or that i'm mad just don't want to know about a menu.

Well whether you like it or not, it's constructive criticism and developer's are normally very happy to get this from gamers, makers or anyone else. It shouldn't matter who it's coming from, or from what perspective. If three people thought the "right click to skip level" was worth mentioning, then it's something you should take heed of to improve your game! instead of trying to dismiss it!

What I was getting at with my last post, besides suggesting you were fibbing, was that if it was intentional for you to have that option, then you should have taken the effort to include a button for it instead. Now you say you were also doing it for the quality. That can also be solved with a couple of buttons or drop down menu.

Doing things like that to improve your game can take a poorly presented game to being more polished and that has an affect on how people perceive, and thus enjoy, your game.

Its my game so i take every thing with a grain of salt. If 3 people say the right click is bad and the other 880 people how played my game like it just fine why should I change it?

Have you heard from these other 880 people about this issue? Chances are the majority of people wouldn't have taken the time to try and skip levels via the right click menu and so they wouldn't have known about it. Especially since you didn't tell anyone about this brilliant feature you included :P

You're right though, it's your game so do what you will with it. If you're not willing to accept valid suggestions then you wont receive any further from me. I'll continue to pick holes in your arguments though each time you leave yourself open.

now the moving the mouse fast enough to jump over obstacles was a really cool cheat ... but this one is even better... move you ship to the bottom right of the map ... then move you cursor off to the right into the black area ... when an object approaches move the cursor behind the object then bakc on the map ... teleportation rocks!

Pretty good for a first attempt at a game.

Though it gets boring very quickly.

StenFLASH your site is great looking and your movies are 4.5/5. We benn talking about the right click how people did not like it. Now your movies are very high in quality and that is a problem for a lot of people. If i could lower the quality i can see your movies with out it skipping and the sound coming in late. So next time leave the menu, it has a job.
