animated menus help

I am having trouble finding a tutorial on making animated menus that have submenus. I have tons on making a simple menu. But not with submenus that are animated.. I am new to flash and having problems finding some tutorials.

The reason is because the animation is created by you. Whether through actionscript or through the timeline. Which way would u like to accomplish this? and what type of animation where you looking for?

I would like to have a horizontal navigation with 6 buttons but have submenus on each. The animation is simply a motion into the resting place, then each sub menu appear and fade out when mouse is moved off.

go to the "movies" section here at FlashKit. You can download and take these apart. i recall seeing a menu movie that does pretty much what you're looking for.

You have to be a little skilled in xml , but it works really well. if you have questions post them.

make sure u extract zip files before it will work
this was created by someone else in flash kit, i just edited it a little.
