    Made my first flash, BUT.....

    Hi KM users!

I made my first flash using KM this weekend.
    http://www.cascity.com/howard/cookson.htm

It works fine on my computer and many others, but some visitors report that the flash is not showing on theirs even though they have Macromedia Flash Player installed.

Do you have any idea what is the reason for this?

It takes a long time to load on a 56K. That is because the sound file is large. this is why they may say that. It did load on my xp with service pack two and on an old win98.
Any programming language is at its best before it is implemented and used.

The total size is 350k, but on a 56k, it should show the download bar while downloading. The few reporting tells me nothing is showing.

The presentation played here fine. [I did not hear any sound, though???]
Maybe, the people that are complaining don't have the flash version needed
and have the download of the new version blocked.
Many people have blocked activeX downloads and javascript and don't know it.
Also, many don't know that flash is an axtiveX based applet.
[Heck, many don't know that there is anything faster than 56k.]
So, I'm willing to bet that it is the user not upgrading their flash
    and not the page itself.
[Seems there is nothing broken in the html or swf.]

One thing that could be done is to imply that they are missing something
until they upgrade and provide a link to the flash upgrade.

Just leave a link and message in the no embed and no script parts of the html code.
