Ok, I need a good tutorial or some getting started help on multi user games. I can produce the graphics side easily and I've started getting into the coding... Pearl/CGI and JAVA/JAVASCRIPT are not problems either! :¬)

    Any ideas?

Well if you want to make a real good fast action game you will require a fast scripting language ie. php3 or asp,the theory is simple the asp/php3 script is called via load variables or get url from within the flash movie and then the script adds the information to the database or text file,so all we do is send varaibles to the script and then they will be saved and ready for the other player(s) to retrieve the information and display it.

    Hey Markp.com,

Multiplayer games is a very advanced step for flash designers, and will require more than a tutorial, to learn. I would encourage you to team up with a seasoned server-side programmer. You will find that most experienced php, cgi, asp programmers can quickly help you develop a multiplayer flash game, allowing you to focus on what you do best FLASH.

Best Luck, maybe oneday i'll convince fragged (my server-side programmer) to write a tutorial.
