    Fancy showing off your artwork?

Sorry to the mods if this thread shouldn't really be here but i know this is where a lot of the artisits from this site go to.

Are any of you interested in showing off some of your pics on my site? It's just a personal site but I'm trying to build up a collection of artists work, take a look at my site and let me know if you fancy your own section. Also any suggestions / critiques welcomed as always on my work (this time my site).

    Cheers,

    Jon

    Cool site.

Observations: The text 'Art' link on the menu is selectable, so it confused me a bit to click. I also would like it better if the artist list stayed open after I clicked it. Also the top row of photos covers up the second row of text in the art section. Just some minor things I noticed. I hope you don't mind my crits.

I don't currently have anything worth posting on your site. But if you would do me the honors, I really like your work. So without further ado... Post Something

    Thanks.

PS, are you really a Tax Collector? I would never have guessed that in a million years

well i work in the tax department, i don't actually collect the taxes, i've just moved to a new department where i'm helping out to try and detect potential frauds where people aren't paying tax they should.

thanks for the crits, they do help a lot, what browser are you viewing the site in? im using ie and i don't get the problem of the pics being over the writing.

as for the art menu, i've already been thinking about making the changes you suggested, just wanted to know if it was worth the effort of doing and now i do i'll get right on it.

Your right, the images line up perfectly and the cursor remains a hand over the art menu in IE.

    I am using FireFox.

Thanks for the posts... very cool.

thanks admedia, i'll look into how to fix that alignment problem in firefox. no problem about the posts, when i get round to doing some more new work i'll post some more up. some of your photos are great, I really like the morning sunlight one, sure you dont want to have a few on my site?

i like how you use php to allow users to upload their own stuff, i want to do something similar but i'm still in the early stages of learning it.

oh, and i take it you wont mind if i add a link to your site on my links page?

The alignment probably has to do with variation on how the browser/flash handles system fonts and variation on how those are leaded.

Feel free to post as often as you like, I'll even up your max if you need it.

The link would be much appreciated... eventually I'll put an index page with some explaination and some other fun stuff and links (I'll remember to link to you 2).

Thanks, yea you can go out to the everglades on practically any given morning and see that. It's just a matter of getting up early enough and doing it, nature does the rest . You can post any of my pics on your site if you want to grab them.

Have fun with the php, and don't get too frustrated... I know it's a pain, but in a good way.

    Hello Mandi

I was just looking at some of the images that you created when we were in the abstract battle with flashkight,..... and good memories come to mind. Good times mandi very good times. I remember looking forward to seeing what you guys created so I could feed off of that and serve. Anyways,.. how have you been? I Hope all is well and not to many people avoiding their taxes. I'm interested in posting some of my work. Let me know if there is a limit. Peace out man.

that abstract battle was the best one I've been in, I got so much inspiration off of you and flashlight, maybe we should contact him about starting up another one?

theres no limit at the moment as to how many images you can have up as theres only a few people with images up, that may have to change if it ever gets popular though. Only thing is you will need to send me the pics to upload at the moment as I haven't mastered php yet. I am learning though so hopefully in the not too distant future people can have their own accounts which they manage.
