Thumbs down FP8 BUG! Yup, it's true.

I've experienced this on several websites now.

I click to open a window with Flash in it (ex: http://www.brendandawes.com/headshop/ Passage of Time). Then when I close the newly spawned window, the music continues to play. The only way to stop it is to kill the window that spawned it.

    Anyone else experience this?

    /Flip

[Edit] I have to kill ALL open browsers (IE) in order for the music to stop [/Edit]

    [Edit 2] OS: XP SP2, Browser: IE6, Flash Player: 8,0,5,0 [/Edit 2]

Did you click the "view" button to launch the Passage of Time pop-up? I've seen this on several sites now, and just tried it again with the same thing happening - music continues to play even when the window is closed down.

You might want to notify Macromedia about this as it may be computer setup specific, but yes I click on the view, saw the flash movie with the music, closed it and the music stopped.

I have sent feedback to MM regarding this issue. I personally don't have the time to run some tests to determine whether this is happening to streaming music or any music in general. But it definitely is a bug as it happens quite frequently now that that I have upgraded to FP8.

I recall FP7 having some 'lingering' streams in its BETA days.
