Load movie problems

Ok, this might challange someone here, I am stumped!!

I have a Main Movie (we will call it MAIN) when MAIN loads it does a few animations and then an MC controller loads which prompts the loading of a welcome.swf on top of MAIN in a clipholder.

There is a menu on MAIN which loads another movie (Call it MOVIE) into clipholder and removes welcome.swf, which itself has a menu.

From MOVIE we select a menu item that closes part of MAIN and loads content into clipholder.

In MAIN I have a back button and I want it to go to the beginning of MAIN and start the opening animation again, but this time load the MOVIE into clipholder instead of welcome.swf.

The problem I have is that evreytime the back button is pressed and it starts the animation in MAIN again it ultimately hits the MC Controller that loads the welcome page again.

If anybody out there understands what I am trying to do I will be amazed, and if you do - any suggestions?

No, it just sits on the stage at a certain keyframe waiting to be activated by the onClipEvent (load) script.
